गायत्री मन्त्रः Gayatri Mantrah

 

 

ॐ  भूर्   भुवः  स्वः       

옴       부ㄹ      부와ㅎ   스와ㅎ               

Om    Bhuur   Bhuvah  Svah   

 옴   땅의 세계  허공의 세계  하늘의 세계   

 तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं      भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि       धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात् 

    탙사위두ㄹ와렌양                바ㄹ고 데와스야 디마히                  디요 요 나ㅎ 프라조다얕
Tat-Savitur-Varennyam        Bhargo Devasya Dhiimahi            Dhiyo Yo Nah Pracodayaat 

그 태양의 최고의 것                나는 신성한 빛을 명상합니다          우리의 지혜가 깨어나도록

 

 

ॐ (Om): Om, the Symbol of the Parabrahman

तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं (Tat-Savitur-Varennyam): That Savitur which is the most Adorable 
तत् (Tat) = That 
सवितुर् (Savitur) = Savitri, Divine Essence of the Sun 사비트리, 태양의 신성한 정수
वरेण्य (Varennya) = Most Adorable, Fit to be Worshipped 가장 최고의 것

भर्गो (Bhargo): Effulgence 광채, 광휘

देवस्य (Devasya): Divine 신성

धीमहि (Dhiimahi): I Meditat 나는 명상합니다

धियो (Dhiyo): Intelligence 지성

यो (Yo):  that

नः (Nah): our

प्रचोदयात् (Pracodayaat): Awaken

 

 

Meaning:
1: Om, Pervading the Bhu Loka (Earth, Consciousness of the Physical Plane), Bhuvar Loka (Antariksha, The Intermediate Space, Consciousness of Prana) and Swar Loka (Sky, Heaven, Consciousness of the Divine Mind),
2: That Savitur (Savitri, Divine Essence of the Sun) which is the most Adorable,
3: I Meditate on that Divine Effulgence,
4: May that Awaken our Intelligence (Spiritual Consciousness).
