환상, 축복, 눈물, 아픔과 기쁨, 호흡, 일하는 자, 시야

The idol of your self is the mother of all idols. 

The material idol is only a snake; 

while this inner idol is a dragon. 

It is easy to break an idol, 

but to regard the self as easy to subdue is a mistake. 

그대 자신의 우상은 모든 우상들의 어머니입니다.

물질적인 우상은 단지 뱀일뿐;

이 내면에서의 우상이 용일때.

우상을 깨는 것은 쉽습니다.

그러나 자신을 쉽게 다스릴 수 있다고 생각하는 것은 실수입니다.

Sometimes, in order to help, 

He makes us miserable; 

but heartache for His sake brings happiness. 

Laughter will come after tears. 

Whoever foresees this is a servant blessed by God. 

Wherever water flows, 

life flourishes: 

wherever tears fall, 

Divine mercy is shown.

때로는 도움을 위해,

그는 우리를 비참하게 만듭니다;

Weep like the waterwheel, 

that green herbs may spring up from the courtyard of your soul. 

If you wish for tears, have mercy on one who sheds tears; 

if you wish mercy, show mercy to the weak.

물레바퀴처럼 눈물을 흘리세요,

초록의 허브들이 그대의 영혼의 대지로부터 피어날 겁니다.

만약 그대가 눈물을 바란다면, 눈물을 솟구치게 하는 그에게 자비를 가지세요;

만약 그대가 자비를 바란다면, 그 약함에 자비를 보여주세요.

When you feel pain, ask pardon of God; this pain has its uses. 

When He pleases, pain becomes joy; bondage itself becomes freedom. 

When you take a clear look, 

you’ll see that from God are both the water of mercy and the fire of anger.

그대가 아픔을 느낄 때, 신에게 용서를 구하라; 이 아픔은 용도가 있다.

그가 기뻐할 때, 아픔은 기쁨이 된다; 스스로에게 묶인 이는 자유가 된다.

그대가 명백하게 볼때,

그대는 자비의 물과 분노의 불 둘다 신으로부터 온것임을 알게 될 것이다.

Water and clay, 

when fed on the breath of Jesus, 

spread wings, 

became a bird and flew. 

Your praise of God is a breath from your body of water and clay. 

Make it a bird of paradise by breathing into it your heart’s sincerity.

물과 흙,

예수의 호흡위에서 먹을 때,

날개를 펼쳐라,

새가 되어 날았다.

그대의 신에 대한 찬양은 그대의 물과 흙의 몸으로부터 온 호흡이다.

천국의 새가 호흡에 의해 그대의 진실한 심장으로 향하도록 만들어라.

Pay attention to the significance of “He who works is beloved of God.”

Through trusting God don’t become neglectful of ways and means.

"일하는 자는 신의 사랑하는 자이다."의 중요성에 주목하라

신뢰함을 통해 신은 방법과 수단을 통해 태만하게 되지 않는다.

Since our vision is so limited, let’s go! 

Let our sight be dissolved in the seeing of the Friend. 

Our sight for His—what an exchange!

우리의 시야가 그렇게 제한된 이후로, 가자!

우리의 시야를 친구를 봄으로 녹여버리자

그를 위한 우리의 시야-무엇과 바꾸랴!
